We are actively engaged in numerous CSR programs that span different areas and benefit socially disadvantaged groups and the local community.

- Kimchi Sharing
- Working with partner corporations, we prepared more than 2,000 heads of kimchi for sharing with our neighbors in need.

- Spring Cleaning at the Orphanage
- Volunteers toiled under the warm sun to give the children’s home a nice spring cleaning.

- Kimchi Sharing
- We prepared kimchi with volunteers from our partner corporations, sharing the love with local communities and building an appreciation for mutual growth with the local community.

- Charcoal Briquette Delivery
- To help our neighbors in need stay warm during the harsh winter, our volunteers made deliveries of much-needed charcoal briquettes.

- We helped restore the homes of families whose houses had been damaged by flooding and other natural disasters.

- We worked with children to make honey-preserved lemon to donate to senior welfare centers, giving the children a taste of the joy of sharing.

- Adopt-an-Aunt, Adopt-an-Uncle
- Volunteers pledged to become adopted aunts and uncles of children in local children’s centers.

- Mural Painting With the Hamsaram Regional Children’s Center
- In May, the CharLOTTE Community Service Group visited the Hamsaram Regional Children’s Center in Siheung-dong to decorate the facility with a giant mural. To make the children’s home a brighter place to be, our volunteers carefully covered the stairs and fences with paintings of things from nature, such as trees and flowers. In the evening, the children living at the facility returned after school and joined us in decorating their home.

- Weeding in Siheung Stream
- In June, the CharLOTTE Community Service Group visited the Siheung Stream in Geumcheon-gu. Led by a forest guide who pointed out invasive plant species preventing the proper growth of indigenous plants, our volunteers spent the day weeding the area to promote a healthy stream ecosystem. The day spent sweating and toiling hard to preserve the local ecosystem was truly rewarding.

- Improving the Educational Environment in Regional Children’s Centers
- In July, the CharLOTTE Community Service Group took part in a make-your-own-furniture class at the Woods Wooden Handicraft Workshop in Sillim-dong. Twenty CharLOTTE members were present at the day’s event, where they made furniture to be used at local children’s welfare centers operated by the Hyemyeong Foundation. Volunteers attending the day’s event had never made furniture before, but found the experience more fun and rewarding than they had expected.

- Community Service Day for New Recruits
- In August, the CharLOTTE Community Service Group visited the Hyemyeong Orphanage, Hyemyeong Nursing Home, and Cheongdam Social Welfare Center to help clean and set the facilities in order, make kimchi for the seniors and children at the facilities, and participate in making traditional Korean Hanji paper crafts. Present at the event were 115 new Chapter 86 recruits. The event provided participants with a unique opportunity to develop a deeper understanding of the value of sharing and embracing other members in the community with love. It was day that was as rewarding as it was hot.

- Recreation and CPR Education for Local Children
- In September, the CharLOTTE Community Service Group visited the Geumcheon District Social Economy Support Center to spend time with the local children. After getting to know one another through a recreation session, we taught the children how to administer CPR in the case of an emergency. The entire session, which culminated in a banquet, was filled with laughter from the children and volunteers.

- Winter Kimchi Sharing
- Last October more than 11,000 members from the LOTTE Group’s CharLOTTE Community Service Group descended on the aT Center in Yangjae-dong to help transform more than 15,000 heads of Napa cabbage into kimchi. The freshly made kimchi was delivered to households in need throughout the country by the Korean Red Cross.

- Charcoal Briquette Community Service
- Last December, the CharLOTTE Community Service Group headed to Onsu-dong in Seoul to deliver charcoal briquettes to those in need. We're sure the smiles on our volunteers’ faces that day made Onsu-dong a little bit warmer.

- Lunar New Year Gift Box Making With New Recruits
- In January, in time for the Lunar New Year holidays, our new recruits made gift boxes containing hand-knit scarves and other daily necessities to share with those in need. The event was a meaningful opportunity for our new recruits to gain a deeper understanding of the value of sharing.

- Bead Crafts for Children
- The CharLOTTE Community Service Group visited the Geumcheon-Youngjae Regional Children’s Center in April, inviting children from the local community to come and take part in bead crafts together with our team. The children were delighted to craft unique accessories such as bracelets and necklaces for themselves and their friends.

- T-shirt Making
- In May, the CharLOTTE Community Service Group participated in 'beads art work' to decorate T-shirts. The T-shirts were delivered to local community centers to support children.

- DIY Activities
- Last June, employees in each division made DIY leather handicrafts and delivered their love to underprivileged neighbors.

- Cookie Making
- More than 100 new employees shared their love with neighbors through cookie-making activities. It was a time when all the new recruits who took the first step in society were full of warm laughter.

- Ice Bucket Challenge
- In September, at LOTTE Center in Gasan-dong, 50 employees participated in the Ice Bucket Challenge to cheer for those suffering from Lou Gehrig's disease. LOTTE Data Communication will always support them and their family.

- Winter Kimchi Sharing
- Last October, at Yangjae aT Tower, 1,100 members of LOTTE group gathered to make kimchi for neighbors. By making over 10,000 kimchis we could share and communicate with love for neighbors.

- Kimchi Sharing for Local Community
- In November, 21 executives and employees participated in a volunteer service to make kimchi for local neighbors. This event has been held for 13 years, will be continued for regionbal communities.

- Briquette Delivery Service
- Last December, Charlotte community service visited 'Ant-village' in Hongje-dong and delivered 1,200 briquettes to the elderly living alone and other neighbors in preparation for the cold winter, making it a season of love through CSR.

- ‘Sharing Life’ with blood donation
- LDCC employees participated in blood donation activities with the Korean Red Cross. We believe this 'sharing life' activity would stabilize the supply in blood for emergency patients especially during winter.

- Making mufflers with love
- Over 200 employees including executives and new recruits joined the campaign 'muffler with love.' The mufflers will be delivered to local children's centers and low-income families.

- LOTTE DATA Communication at Korea's Best Job Company 2020
- At the "2020 Korea Job Best Company Certification Ceremony" held at the Sejong Convention Center, our company was selected as the best job company. Our company received excellent reviews not only in job-related quantitative areas such as employment growth and employment growth, but also in quality areas such as efforts to make working hours flexible, practice work/life balance, and welfare system.

- Non-face-to-face Volunteer Activities
- In September, new employees started doing volunteer work at Lotte Center. Blind people often don't get access to books on time even if they want to read them. So the new employees of LDCC made braille books in accordance with guidebooks. Through this activity, they made a total of 10 Braille books and delivered them to the Korea Federation of Visual Disability.

- Making a muffler of love
- In January, 200 employees of LOTTE Data Communication participated in the 'Heart Temperature 37' campaign. Due to Covid 19, volunteer work was carried out non-face-to-face, and employees made mufflers with their families at home. The mufflers were donated to a children's center and used to support heating costs.

- Blood Donation and lease making activity
- In March, blood donation service was carried out to support the situation where blood supply and demand were insufficient due to covid-19. Also, about 60 employees made and delivered 100 Scandinavia-lease to Geumcheon-gu Regional Children's Center. Considering the difficulty of outdoor activities due to Covid-19, we hope that the lease-making, an air purifying plant, will be a pleasant indoor activity for our neighbors.

- Organizing the graveyard for patriots
- In June, we conducted volunteer work to organize the graveyard to express respect and gratitude for the spirit of sacrifice of the patriots. About 30 employees and families visited the Memorial Tower together, cleaned up the area around the graveyard, including cleaning monuments and collecting withered flowers. After volunteering, we visited the Hoguk Exhibition Hall and the Relics Exhibition Hall to once again honor the will of the patriots and have a valuable experience to cultivate the right sense of history.

- "Happy" photo-taking volunteer
- In July, the Hannae Welfare Center located in Geumcheon-si conducted photo-taking volunteer work for 31 elderly people. Professional artists provided makeup and hair drying services, and filmed wearing hanbok prepared by the company. In addition, a total of 100kg of kimchi was delivered together for the summer. We hope the elderly will have a happy and healthy summer.

- Tile Murals of Love
- In August, we conducted a volunteer work for tile murals to improve the environment of local children's centers.
About 100 employees and family members participated in the non-face-to-face environment, ranging from sketches to coloring on tiles.
256 tiles produced have been gathered to complete the Love Tile Wall Painting. Tiles were installed on the wall of a Regional Children's Center in Geumcheon-gu. It transforms an aging, desolate alley into a space full of warmth, cheering for the children's dreams.

- Participation in ‘Super Blue Marathon’ to improve awareness of the impared
- In November, executives and disabled people participated in the marathon together so that the disabled and non-disabled could sympathize and communicate.
Starting with the performance of the Geumcheon Family Orchestra (composed of people with developmental disabilities and their families), we started the marathon after doing safety education and warm-up exercises. Walking and running together, we toured a 2.5km round-trip course starting from Cheolsan Bridge and completed a total of 5km.
※ What is Super Blue Marathon?
Lotte Group has held the event since 2014. People with disabilities and non-disabled people run together to reflect on their perceptions of disabilities and to create a society where people live together.

- Donations and Hickman Pouches to Bobas Memorial Hospital
- In December, at the Bobas Memorial Hospital in Seongnam, the vulnerable group will receive treatment.
Along with 200 million won, 150 ‘Hickman pockets’ produced by executives and employees were donated.
The donation will be used to support medical expenses, examination expenses, and medical supplies for the vulnerable.
In addition, regular blood donation services were held.

- Making books for the visually impaired
- We made non-face-to-face books with new employees.
It is a volunteer activity that checks whether there are any typos by comparing actual books with extracted texts using the welfare center program.
It's a necessary task before making a book for the visually impaired. In addition to new employees, it was conducted as a regular volunteer activity that anyone who wants to volunteer can participate.

- 2022 heart temperature 37 degrees, scarf knitting
- LDCC employees and families made winter scarves for vulnerable children. The scarves and postcards expressing our regret not being able to see them in person were delivered along with donations.
※ Heart Temperature 37 Degrees is an annual volunteer activity where donations are used on heating expenses for children in winter.

- Blood donation bus
- In April, LDCC employees participated in blood donation activities amidst the critical situation of blood shortage. We hope to make small but steady contributions to the blood supply through this regular activity.

- Making one-of-a-kind dolls
- In May, we carried out a volunteer program where we made real dolls out of drawings drawn by child patients, and gifted the dolls to them. It was a truly rewarding experience, presenting sick children with a special, happy memory.

- Capturing happy moments with 'Photo of happiness'
- In celebration of Family Month, in May, we volunteered to take portraits for senior citizens, which are called the 'photos of happiness'. This is the second year we conducted this program, and we got to spend a happy time with senior citizens from the Geumcheon Nuri Welfare Center. LDCC employees participated in photo taking and editing themselves, hoping that the senior citizens's bright smiles will never fade.

- Cleaning graveyard at the National Cemetery
- In June, we participated in volunteer activities at Seoul National Cemetery on the occasion of Memorial Day. LDCC employees and families cleaned up the area around the graveyard and paid tribute to the patriotic martyrs who gave up their lives for our country.

- Kiosk volunteer acitivity "I can do it too!"
- In July, we conducted a volunteer activity on kiosk use training at the Geumcheon Welfare Center for the Disabled. We taught people with disabilities who encountered difficulties using IT devices how to use kiosks, and proceeded to Lotteria to practice ordering directly with them. The volunteers were right beside to help if someone got stuck while ordering. After that, we had hamburger together while chatting casually. Through the volunteer work, we got to experience the warmth that no kiosk equipment could provide.

- Flood recovery volunteer activity
- In August, flood recovery activities were carried out in Geumcheon-gu. Our employees joined hands in helping a flood-stricken shopping mall that suffered a huge loss from the flood, having been caught off guard by the record heavy rain. We moved and dried the furniture and equipment that had been soaked in water, then we cleaned the floor to get rid of muddy water. We hope the volunteer work was of some help to those affected by the heavy rain.

- Volunteer activity to make Braille books for the blind
- In August, we conducted a volunteer activity through myPICK, a Braille e-book production website by the Siloam Center For The Blind. Our job was to correct parts in the Braille books where the extracted text was different from that of the original books. The works will be used in various ways such as Braille books, electronic books, and audio books. We hope this will serve as an opportunity for blind people to access more diverse books.

- Mentoring program "Welcome! First time in LDCC?"
- In September, we conducted a career mentoring activity with students from Seoul Magnet High School. Executives and employees became mentors to advise students on various concerns, then took them on a 1:1 tour of the headquarters building. The tour allowed students to get a little closer to IT technology by experiencing our solutions and new technologies, including data center, self-driving shuttle, and DT Lab. The activity ended with mentors handing out small gifts to the students and cheering for their dreams.

- Elimination of harmful plants in Anyangcheon Stream
- In October, LOTTE Data Communication employees started to eradicate harmful plants living in Anyangcheon Stream. On this day, teachers at the Geumcheon GC Ecology Forum participated in the event to take useful lectures on the environment. The activities mainly eliminated hwansam vines and pig grass, which disrupt the ecosystem, and paid attention to water quality purification by throwing EM balls into Anyangcheon Stream. We will continue to make efforts to stabilize the ecosystem in Geumcheon-gu.

- Volunteer work for abandoned dogs with 'Hey Nana'
- In October, we visited the abandoned dog center with the Hey Nana team. It was the first visit, so we could do volunteer work after education on life protection and animal welfare. It was a time to get rid of prejudice against existing abandoned dogs. And we interacted emotionally with abandoned dogs through various volunteer activities such as cleaning silk, organizing supplies, walking dogs, and playing ball by grun. We hope that responsible pet culture will spread and many abandoned dogs would become someone's beloved dogs.

- Sharing Kimchi of Love in Geumcheon-gu
- In November, LOTTE Data Communication participated in the 15th "Kimjang Sharing of Love" conducted by Geumcheon-gu Office. This time, all three Lotte companies (GRS, Aluminum and LDCC) located in Geumcheon-gu participated in the donation and kimchi service. 4,000kg of kimchi made at the event was delivered to about 600 households, including free lunch centers and the underprivileged. It's a small gift, but we hope it will be a warm comfort to the neighbors in need.

- Blood Donation Bus of Love
- In December, we participated in life sharing through regular blood donation service. Despite the cold weather, these are executives and employees who carefully check with tablets while waiting for blood donation. We would like to thank the employees who participated in regular blood donation activities again this time, and hope it will be helpful to many patients.

- Awarded a plaque of appreciation in 2022
- We received a plaque of appreciation for outstanding volunteer companies at the Geumcheon-gu Office commemorative event held to mark the 17th Volunteer Day. For the last year(2022), the executives and employees of LDCC have been working on flood recovery activities, sharing kimchi, career mentoring, kiosk education, and local senior citizens. Through various sharing activities such as taking photos for the elders, we were able to practice co-prosperity with the local community.
